Acetyl L-carnitine is the biologically active form of the amino acid L-carnitine. It can cross the blood-brain barrier, which makes it an ideal compound for neurological health. Acetyl-L-carnitine is the most abundant naturally occurring derivative of carnitine. ALC helps the body produce energy at the cellular level; regulates carbohydrate, lipid and protein metabolism; facilitates fatty acid entry into the mitochondria; and maintains the homeostasis of coenzyme A. ALC also displays potent antioxidant effects and supports repair mechanisms. ALC has been shown to support heart and brain function, muscle movement, and numerous other body processes.

Non-medicinal ingredients: Vegetarian capsule (carbohydrate gum [cellulose], purified water), microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant), silica.
Suggested Use
2 capsules twice a day with a meal or as directed by a health practionner.
