Product Details

AL-J is an excellent respiratory formula for relieving sinus and upper respiratory congestion associated with allergies. Mullein is commonly associated with relief of respiratory problems. It contains mucilaginous substances which protect mucous membranes and prevent them from absorbing toxins. The cooling, soothing properties of mucilage lubricates tissues, reduces inflammation, and enhances healing.

Traditional uses of the various herbs include: - Horseradish root - used to stimulate perspiration and as an expectorant, increasing the production of mucosal fluids to remove allergens and other toxins. Horseradish has also traditionally been used to reduce hoarseness, relieve sore throats, and as a sialagogue (increases the flow of saliva). It has also traditionally been used as an antiseptic. - Mullein leaves have been used for relief of the respiratory mucus membranes and to control hacking coughs.
