Organic Traditions Dark Chocolate Golden berries are a healthy and nutritious snack which combines two delicious superfoods. Golden berries have been prized since the Inca civilization. They are a source of Magnesium and Copper.

The tart, citrus taste of Golden berries paired with the rich, dark chocolate coating makes for an incredible treat. The chocolate is gluten-free and sugar-free and is naturally sweetened with low-glycemic Organic Traditions Yacon Syrup as opposed to conventional sugar. Yacon is a root indigenous to the Andes of Peru and Bolivia.

Also known as the Peruvian Ground Apple or Sunroot, it has been prized since the Incan civilization as a pleasantly sweet tasting tuber. The tuber’s sweet taste is mainly comprised of FOS or Fructo- oligosaccharides. Fructo-oligosaccharides are a type of dietary sugar that the body does not metabolize.
These indigestible carbohydrates support the growth of beneficial bacteria without a significant impact on blood glucose levels.
