Reduce dose or discontinue use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms, and/or diarrhea. Do not use if allergic to the Asteraceae/Compositae/ Daisy family. Do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not take if you are using anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication; products containing diuretics, thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance; or if you have a bile duct obstruction, abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, hemmorrhoids, diarrhea, hypokalemia, hypertension, cardiovascular or renal disorders, kidney or liver disease, high or low blood pressure, edema (swelling of the hands, face or feet), acute irritation or inflammation of the stomach, or gastric or duodenal ulcer, liver or gallbladder, or bowel obstruction. Do not use in case of dehydration. Discontinue use if symptoms of liver problems occur. Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
